The I2C, popular "two-wire interface" invented by Philips almost three decades ago is permanently popular. As a multi-master serial single-ended computer bus is being used to attach low-speed peripherals to a motherboard, embedded system, cellphone or other electronics. The original communication speed was defined with a maximum of 100 kbit per second, as many applications just don't require faster transmission. Cause we belive that impossible is nothing, DCD developed IP Cores which are consistent with 400 kbit fastmode and 3.4 Mbit high speed as well.
Digital Core Design implemented proprietary I2C IP Cores. Master, Slave, Master/Slave or Base - they're all innovative in every detail.
